Last October, more than 4,000 Miamians across the county came together around dining tables, in breakrooms and at ventanitas to talk about their local experiences at My Miami Story conversations . Surveys completed by the participants show that these gatherings are about more than trading stories … they’re the spark that leads to action on issues that matter to residents. Matthew Beatty, senior director of communications and engagement, shares what we learned.
