
23 Jul JULY NEWS – FELLOWS TACKLE MIAMI’S CIVIC ISSUES
Our Miami Fellows signature leadership program has produced remarkable alumni tackling Greater Miami’s most pressing civic issues. Take a look at the outstanding work our current and former Fellows are doing:
— In June, Class IX took a tour of the Miami Herald and met with President and Publisher Alexandra Villoch to learn about their social responsibility strategy. Class member Erin Clemens reflected on the visit in her blog post >>
— Rebecca Fishman Lipsey (Class VI) created a bootcamp designed for social entrepreneurs, equipping them with tools and support to increase their impact. Read more in the June 29th post on Foundation Blog >>
— Ralph Rosado (Class V) helped get the city of Miami to clean up contaminated Douglas Park. He also went car-free for a month, using only public transit, cycling and walking to get around the city. He came away with low-cost solutions to make it easier for others to do the same. Read more >>
