Valerie Crum is the Programs Officer. She spearheads the Foundation’s community and nonprofit outreach initiatives, fostering the organization’s deep community knowledge to guide new opportunities to collaborate for a Greater Miami. She also manages the Foundation’s program evaluation efforts, working closely with grantees, community groups, and partner organizations to ensure judicious, effective investments. Previously, Valerie led new business development and grants management at a national nonprofit that partnered with 50 American cities working to achieve clean energy goals. She was a fellow at the U.S. Department of Energy and the American Sustainable Business Council. A Florida native, Valerie graduated from the University of Florida with a dual degree in journalism and political science. She is a LEED Green Associate.
