Director of Community Impact
Priya joins The Miami Foundation as our first-ever Director of Community Impact. In this newly created role, Priya will lead the Foundation’s efforts to become a data-driven organization and help us build an online community impact hub.
With over a decade of experience, Priya is a seasoned professional who enjoys strategizing, fostering partnerships, and managing complex programs to advance community impact. She began her career in global health, spending over six years with different academic partners managing maternal and child health research projects in Asia and Africa. Later as a consultant, Priya helped non-profits shape their impact measurement strategies to effectively share their stories of change. Most recently, she co-founded and led a social enterprise in India that leveraged technology to catalyze sectoral collaboration by building a pool of 400+ trusted professionals serving over 2500+ projects to clients, including the World Bank, Columbia University, BBC Media Action Trust, and more.
Used in the proper context, Priya is optimistic about the role of technology as a tool for democratizing access and catalyzing social change at scale. As a recent transplant to Miami, she is excited to explore this city’s magic and finally get a chance to improve her broken Spanish.
