Peter Routsis-Arroyo, currently head of Catholic Charities in the Diocese of Venice, will succeed Deacon Richard Turcotte, who is retiring, as CEO of Catholic Charities in the Archdiocese of Miami.

Peter Routsis-Arroyo is the CEO of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Miami since 2018 and is responsible for the total operations of the agency with an annual operating budget over $35M. He oversees over 30 social service locations, multiple housing corporations and a medical clinic for the uninsured. Prior to his position in Miami, he was the CEO for Catholic Charities, Diocese of Venice, Florida for 20 years and the Director of the Institute for the Hispanic Family with Catholic Charities of Hartford, CT for 5 years. His career now spans more than 30 years with Catholic Charities. He is also a bilingual, licensed clinical social worker, married with 5 children. He is an active member of the Knights of Columbus.
