An international relief organization that has been working on the ground with a staff of 70 in Haiti since the 2010 earthquake providing clean water, supplies, mental health support, shelter, and other relief. The Miami Foundation partnered extensively with Mercy Corps in the wake of Hurricane Maria.

Project Hope

Project Hope implements a primary health care program that involves mobile clinics, water and sanitation, and mental health activities. Project HOPE’s is operating mobile medical units, distribute hygiene kits, promote health and hygiene activities, and support mental health needs. Learn more here.

Ayiti Community Trust (ACT)

Ayiti Community Trust (ACT) is a community foundation for Ayiti (Haiti) that is housed here at The Miami Foundation working to build a sustainable Ayiti. The Miami Foundation has worked for many years with Ayiti Community Trust and a member of our team serves on their board of trustees. In addition to supporting the diaspora, they are also driving financial resources and supplies to the island.

Sant La

Haitian-led Sant La Haitian Neighborhood Center works to empower, strengthen and uplift the Haitian-American community of South Florida. They are the first stop for Haitian immigrants arriving in Miami and need housing and other supports. Sant La is a long-time grant partner of our Foundation.
