Fiscal sponsorship funds allow an individual or family to create a charitable program and solicit charitable donations under the umbrella of The Miami Foundation’s 501(c)(3) nonprofit status.

As your fiscal sponsor, The Miami Foundation becomes the tax exempt organization that allows you to receive contributions from individuals, foundations, corporations and government agencies. The Miami Foundation will provide back office services for gifts and expenses related to your fund (e.g. acknowledgement of tax-deductible donations, invoice payments and fund management).

All fiscal sponsorship funds must be established with a minimum fund contribution of $100,000 and maintain an average balance of the same amount.
