Dade County Street Response
Armen Henderson is a general internal medicine faculty member at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine currently in a hybrid role of a hospitalist, educator, and community organizer. His community facing responsibilities are Director of Health Programs with The Dream Defenders and Founder of the Dade County Street Response. Recently he has been active in responding to vulnerable communities since the start of COVID-19, particularly working with those that are unsheltered in Miami. Focus areas are climate change, disaster preparedness, street medicine, gun violence, and social determinants of health.
