20 Mar THE MIAMI FOUNDATION APPOINTS FIVE LOCAL LEADERS TO BOARD OF TRUSTEES
The Miami Foundation announces the appointment of five new board members with significant experience in finance, communications and law. The new trustees are: Jose Antonio Hernandez-Solaun, president of The Easton Group; Alison Miller, shareholder at Stearns Weaver Miller Weissler Alhadeff & Sitterson, P.A.; Patricia M. Neal, president & CEO of Acies Strategy Group; Gary Ressler, principal of The TILIA Companies; and Isabel Santo Tomás, senior vice president/investments at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management.
Jose Antonio Hernandez-Solaun
Jose A. Hernandez-Solaun is President of The Easton Group, a real estate brokerage, management, and development firm. Jose has founded several nonprofits, including L.I.V.E., Lead 305 and The Hernandez-Solaun Foundation. Jose was the board chair of the American Diabetes Association and the MIT Enterprise Forum of South Florida. He has also served on various boards including the Idea Center at MDC and the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce.
Alison Miller is a Director and Shareholder of Stearns Weaver Miller Weissler Alhadeff & Sitterson, P.A. and heads the Firm’s Corporate & Securities practice.
Patricia M. Neal
Patricia M. Neal is President & CEO of Acies Strategy Group, an international media consulting firm that specializes in strategic communications. She served as Vice President, Corporate Communications for Bacardi Limited, heading all communications globally for 12 years and had an extensive journalism career as producer, correspondent, foreign bureau chief and supervising producer at CNN. She is a Board Director of the Dranoff International 2 Piano Foundation and served on the Executive Alumni Board of Rhodes College.
Gary Ressler is Principal of The TILIA Family of Companies. Originally from California, Gary moved to Miami in 2001 to assume operations over TILIA. He serves on the board of directors of The Kronish Foundation of Temple Beth Shalom, The City of Miami’s Downtown Development Authority and as president of the Board of Directors of The Downtown Miami Partnership (DMP).
Isabel Santo Tomás
Isabel Santo Tomás is Senior Vice President/Investments at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management, where she was ranked by the Financial Times as one of the Top Financial Advisors in the U.S. in 2015. She received her bachelor’s degree at North Carolina State University in 1985 and has more than 30 years of experience in private wealth management.
